Reports say that John Travolta hasn’t gotten over the death of his wife, Kelly Preston, who died in July 2020 after a long fight with breast cancer. Sources say that after losing his wife of almost 20 years, the actor would never date or be in a relationship with another woman again.
A source said,
John still considers himself married and says he will stay loyal to Kelly until the day he dies. He talks about Kelly constantly. Their lives were so intertwined, it’s very hard for him to go on.
Kelly will always be the only woman for him.
An insider continued by saying,
it’s hands off when it comes to dating. As far as he is concerned, Kelly will always be the only woman for him. It’s sad, but he’s essentially taken a vow of celibacy for the rest of his life. He simply can’t wrap his head around ever falling in love again. He says it would be a betrayal of Kelly’s memory.
John’s attention is now on his kids.
According to a source,
The kids are everything to him. If it weren’t for them, it’s hard to know what he’d do.
The insider said that the “Saturday Night Fever” star “has never stopped mourning Jett, and losing Kelly has brought all that pain back to the surface.” He talks about how he hopes to see them again in the next life.”
Travolta lost Jett in 2009, and he wrote on Instagram in April last year,
My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can say. I think about you every day. Happy Birthday. Love, your Dad.
Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.
The father of three wrote a heartbreaking post on social media after Kelly died in 2020. It said,
It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.
He expressed,
My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side,” before adding, “Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.
John Travolta added,
I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT.
At the time, a fan of the late actress said,
