The Atlanta Braves are living up to their name of being the most aggressive team of this season.
The team is now welcoming free agent catcher Brian McCann. The team signed the formal paperworks with McCann this Monday. Not only this, third baseman Josh Donaldson is also signing up with the Braves. This news was confirmed by Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic who tweeted the fact that Donaldson is signing a $23M free agent contract with the Atlanta Braves. However, a physical is still pending in the deal.

In the Braves, Donaldson will be reuniting with his former General Manager Alex Anthopoulos who trained him during his time in Toronto. Donaldson will provide depth to the middle order of Atlanta as they will finally have someone to support Freddie Freeman.
The former AL MVP has a record of .246/.358/.449 and eight home runs in his name. Let’s wait and watch how his career with the Braves go.
