JuJu Smith-Schuster is The Steelers MVP for their 2018 season. This selection is made collectively by the team players. The official announcement came this Thursday from the Steelers Headquarters.
And without a doubt, JuJu deserved it. He had a scintillating 2018 Season where he did 6 touchdowns, 106 catches and covered 1389 yards. But still, there were a lot of people who were criticizing this news.
Even the media people, who are in day-to-day touch with the Steelers said that this selection is surprising. Gerry Dulac expressed his criticism over a tweet.
He praised JuJu Smith Schuster for a “monster season” as he revealed the news on his official twitter handle. He continued saying that even though he has got nothing against the Steelers MVP, but in his opinion, it was Ben Roethlisberger who should have earned the crown.
He tweeted that bypassing Ben was disgraceful.
Smith-Schuster is into his second season and this is his first MVP Selection. Congratulations JuJu.
