Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 222 will be released on 15th May 2023. After Gojo’s release from the previous chapter’s prison realm, the sudden events have left fans excited for the upcoming battle between Sukuna in Megumi’s body and Gojo Satoru. The Chapter is named “Omen” It begins with Sukuna eating the four mummified fingers that Kenjaku and Utahime found. Sukuna says he can use the mummified body they retried as compensation for his last unfound finger.
Gojo hides the last finger as this would prevent Megumi from being Executed legally by the high council. The Chapter then moves to the other side. Kogane tells Kenjaku that 61 players have died because their points remain the same during the cursed technique removal. Kenjaku then plans to kill the remaining Culling game players before the primary fight between Sukuna and Gojo. Gojo then learns of Nanami’s death and is relieved that Ijichi survived. Mei Mei seels the betting pool around Gojo and Sukuna’s fight and makes good money by selling tickets. Meanwhile, Inumaki and Yuta hide that Inumaki lost his arm due to Sukuna from Yuji as they don’t want him to blame himself.
On the day of the fight
24th December then arrives, and Kenjaku makes his move. He plans to kill all the game’s other players as they might cause a problem for them. When Sukuna is weakened from the fight between him and Gojo, the rest might use it to their advantage and kill Sukuna. To prevent this, he chooses to kill everybody else.
Atsuya Kusakabe trains Yuji to overcome his weaknesses; He overpowers Atsuya. The students are seen waiting for Gojo to arrive at the school. Once he comes, Yuji asks Gojo to remove his infinity so they can all pat his back as a sign of good luck. Gojo does it. Yuta promises to tag- tag team with Gojo if the fight gets too much for Gojo.
