Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 227 was delayed by a week, and fans started to make theories based on how the previous chapter ended and how things will progress after that last blow!

Jujutsu Kaisen follows a high schooler Itadori Yuji. Despite being born with abnormal body strength, he leads a normal life until his friends get attacked by a cursed spirit. To save his friends, Yuji eats the finger of Sukuna, the king of curses, and turns himself into a vessel for Sukuna to manifest. He gets found by Gojo, a teacher at the Jujutsu Kaisen, that takes him in.
The manga is written by Gege Akutami and was also adapted into an anime series of the same name. Season 2 of the anime will release on June 6th, 2023.

The last chapter ended with Gojo dealing a blow on Sukuna that almost showed the readers that the Cursed domain expansion might have been destroyed.

Based on this information, we can predict that the next chapter may have two different approaches. One is that the domain expansion was destroyed by Gojo. This would put Satoru at an Advantage over Sukuna. If the domain expansion was destroyed then it would be difficult for Sukuna to defend himself and build enough cursed energy to use domain expansion again. Gojo can land more blows on Sukuna at this point and stay as the dominant attacker.
The other approach could be that the domain expansion is still intact, which would put Gojo at a disadvantage. If the shrine is intact then Gojo would have to be at the defensive end of the battle. Sukuna would rain blows of Gojo. Information from reliable sources claims that the end of the fight is near. Given Akutami’s history of killing off his characters, it won’t be a surprise if Gojo loses this fight. The fight is most likely to finish in 2 more chapters.
Sukuna is a powerful being; in Megumi’s body, he has infinite possibilities. The Mahagora is one of the ten shadow techniques that he can use to counter Gojo. Gojo is a human, and he has limits to his healing abilities. Even though it was mentioned previously that Gojo has infinite cursed energy, he is still competing against the king of curses, Sukuna alone. Constantly healing and attacking for a long period of time may exhaust Gojo at some point.
