Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 5 ended with Gojo’s past arc. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 will now return after a three-week break with the Shibuya Incident Arc, as previously confirmed by the producers.
Here is everything you need to know about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6, beginning the Shibuya Incident Arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: A Brief Recap Upto Episode 5
The events of Gojo’s past arc occur in 2006 when Satoru Gojo and his friend Suguru Geto are in their second year of high school. Gojo and Geto are sent on an escort mission, ordered by Master Tenjen, to escort the Star Plasma Vessel to him. The Star Plasma Vessel is a hot target of Group Q and the Time Vessel Association.
While the vessel Riko Amanai, and her caretaker, Misato Kuroi, are attacked by group Q, Geto and Gojo save them and take them to Amanai’s high school as per Master Tenjen’s order without any difficulty. Things quickly take a nasty turn when the Time Vessel Association hires Toji Zenin to murder Riko. Riko is killed after a bloody brawl between Gojo, Geto, and Toji. As a result, Gojo is resurrected after being killed by Toji earlier in the battle, which alters the course of the series.
Toji informs him in his last moments that his son Megumi will be sold to the Zenin Family in a few years. The concluding episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Part 1 depict Gojo and Geto splitting up in separate paths. Geto was left on his own as Gojo began undertaking missions by himself once he began to master his Infinity and Limitless, in addition to the domains and the reversed cursed techniques.

Things immediately turned bad because Geto’s ideas shifted. He is now a cursed user and is out to retake control of the dissolved Time Vessel Association. In the meantime, Gojo assures Megumi that, unlike Toji or Geto, he will take care of him and turn him into a good sorcerer.
This is where Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 ends Gojo’s past arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6: The Shibuya Incident Arc (Spoiler Alert!!!)
With Episode 5, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 comes to an end concluding Gojo’s past arc. So far, confirmed by the creators that the journey till Episode 5 wasn’t quite a happy-go-lucky one. In fact, with Riko’s death and Geto’s decision to retake the time vessel association, the episode started getting dark at that point.
