Quentin Sands, brother of Julian Sands, doesn’t have much hope that the actor will be found alive.
The 65-year-old British star of “A Room With a View” hasn’t been seen since January 13, when he went hiking on Mt. Baldy in Southern California. A family member is worried that he may never be found.
“I Know In My Heart That He Has Gone”
Nick Sands, Julian’s older brother, told the Craven Herald & Pioneer newspaper in the UK,
He has not yet been declared missing, presumed dead, but I know in my heart that he has gone.
He Wants To Be Proven Wrong.
However sibling rivalry being what it is, it would be just like him to walk out of there and prove me wrong,
the brother added.
They planned to get together for a beer.
Julian Sands hasn’t been seen since January 30, when he was supposed to meet Nick and his three other brothers, Robin, Jeremy, and Quentin, for something they called “Monday Club.” It’s very sad to hear that Julian Sands has gone missing. He lives in Los Angeles, but he goes home three times a year.
[H]e will be missed, and I guess we will raise a glass to him,
Nick said.
Julian’s favorite place was Mt. Baldy.
His brother, who is a financial advisor, says that Julian’s favorite place was Mt. Baldy and that he went there a lot when he was in Los Angeles.
Nick thinks that he is “Resting Now.”
Julian liked to say ‘I have never had a holiday but I do rest occasionally’ – well he’s resting now in a place he would truly approve of,
Nick continued.
The authorities are still looking for Julian Sands.
The actor from “The Killing Fields” has been missing for about two weeks now. He was last seen in a dangerous mountain range in California. The search began on January 13, and it is still going on.
Still No Signs Of Julian.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office has searched on the ground and also used infrared-equipped helicopters and drones. They haven’t seen any signs of the actor, though.
Friends and fans of Jules will miss him very much.
He is married to Evgenia Citkowitz and has three children. He also has “an army of friends, fans, and admirers who have been great in their support and will miss Jules very much,” said Nick.
