Last year, the ‘Peaches’ singer disclosed a shocking health diagnosis, and he’s now giving fans an update.
The ‘Sorry’ singer was forced to postpone tour dates after suffering temporary facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
This is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox, which becomes reactivated after lying inert for years and causes inflammation and irritation on the facial nerves.
In an Instagram post from June 2022, Bieber’s face is clearly twitching as he explains to fans about his condition.
He can be seen in the video trying to smile, blink, and move his face.
However, one side stays motionless as he speaks.
Fans were clearly concerned about Bieber’s health as a result of this.
“Obviously, as you can probably see from my face,” the pop singer said at the time.
“I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.”
