Kaley Cuoco gave birth to a baby girl and made the birth of her daughter official!
The Big Bang Theory actress shared the first image of Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the couple’s daughter, on March 30. She also shared the joyful news on her Instagram account.
“3-30-23 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did,” she wrote alongside the photo of her little angel.
The Ozark star also posted a number of images of himself, Kaley Cuoco, and their infant daughter on his Instagram account.
“You are the universe’s soul. And your name is Love” Pelphrey quoted Rumi as saying, adding that his spirit is overflowing with gratitude and love.
“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle…. Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey. 3/30. Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
According to a source close to the pair, they are thrilled to be parents and look forward to a successful future together.
“She is very much in love and gets along great with Tom which makes things even better. She has found her soulmate,” the source said.
“Kaley Cuoco is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work,” added the source. “They are preparing for the arrival, which isn’t far off. She is in a good place.”
The 37-year-old performer from Flight Attendant revealed her pregnancy on Instagram in October of last year.
“Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023, beyond blessed and over the moon… I love you @tommypelphrey !!!” she penned alongside ten photos of herself and Tom revealing the gender of the baby.
Cucuo claimed in an earlier interview with Entertainment Tonight that she did not read about parenting strategies prior to the birth of her child.
“I have no plan and I’ve read zero books so that’s the type of mom I will be. All the ways I’m not like a prepper. I’m just not that way. It’s gonna be great, I trust the process,” she said.

She added that ever since learning of her pregnancy, her mother had been especially excited about becoming a grandmother.
“My mom is amazing. She has honestly been waiting on a grandchild for, like, 20 years. So she’s absolutely thrilled,” she added.
Since they first connected on a premiere, in April 2022, after being set up by their agency, Kaley Cuoco and Pelphrey have been dating.
“We have the same manager [Andrea Pett-Joseph], and we were set up by [her], which is so Hollywood,” Kaley Cuoco told USA Today in an interview. “She’s like, ‘Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.’”
For both, it was true love at first sight.
“I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight,” the actress recalled. “We were immediately connected. I do feel like I’ve known him my whole life, but I wasn’t ready for him.”
“We’re ready to build a life together,” she added.
