Following the posting of a screenshot of the bank’s termination notice to the musician by conservative commentator Candace Owens, it appears that Kanye West is searching for a new banking institution to park his millions.
Owens, who appeared with West in Paris wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt, posted the “formal notification” from JPMorgan Chase Bank on Wednesday.
She said the criticism demonstrated there was “hate against White people.” She captioned the picture, writing, “Earlier today I discovered that @kanyewest was formally thrown out of JP Morgan Chase bank.
“Although they delivered this letter to certify that he had until late November to find a new bank for the Yeezy enterprise, I was informed that there was no official explanation provided.”
In the letter, it is said that West has until November 21 to find a new bank since it is cutting ties with Yeezy LLC and its associated companies. The rapper has been embroiled in a number of controversies, with this one being the most recent.
The SpringHill Company CEO Maverick Carter stated to Andscape on Tuesday that West “used The Shop to rehash additional hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.” As a result, the rapper’s appearance on an episode of The Shop was canceled.
