Katherine Ryan says that a well-known TV star is a “predator,” which is something that everyone in the business knows.
Ryan, who is from Canada and is 39 years old, is a comedian, host, and writer who has been on shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Your Face or Mine?, and The Duchess.
She is also known for speaking her mind. In the past, she has called out the TV industry for being biased against women and older people.
But her most recent claims are much scarier.

Ryan was recently on Louis Theroux’s BBC Interviews show, and she told the reporter about an “open secret” in the TV business.
She said that a male comedian in the world of show business is a sexual predator.
The actor from Taskmaster told Theroux:
It’s very dangerous for us to have this conversation.
I’m happy to have it, but it’s a litigious minefield because lots of people have tried to nail this person down for their alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers, so am I going to put my mortgage on the line by saying who this person is or entering into any conversations like that?
She added:
We’ve seen what happens to people who talk about alleged predators.
The comic then said that she had never been a victim. But she knows that the unnamed comic has a certain way of acting.
Ryan continued:
It’s not really my story to tell.
No one has perpetrated any s**ual assault against me, but this person, I believe very strongly – many people believe very strongly – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of s**ual assault.
The Roast Battle comic went on to say that she had actually talked to this person on an unnamed TV show about how they were acting.
She alleged:
I called him a predator to his face and in front of everyone that day.
“What am I supposed to do? It’s such a messy thing because I don’t have proof. What, am I not supposed to feed my children because of someone else?
This part of the unnamed show was cut out in the end.
I still got paid and I still did my job, but I did it in my way, which I thought was fair,
Ryan remarked.
People on Twitter have asked Ryan to name the alleged predator after hearing about her claims.
One tweeted:
Katherine Ryan needs to name and shame this s**ual predator.
Another agreed by saying:
Katherine Ryan should name the predator so the police can stop him.
But some people have defended Ryan’s choice not to name the predator in the comments.
One person said:
But at least she has ‘highlighted’ this.
She says it’s ‘open secret’ on a TV show. Therefore where’s everyone else? Why has no one else ‘highlighted’ this? She knew the attention this would receive, whilst protecting her family.

A second person said:
It’s understandable why you can’t mention it to be honest, as [it] will ruin everything you’ve earnt if he and lawyers come for you.
