Keanu Reeves and his fiancée Alexandra Grant are being lauded for once again providing a good example for Hollywood couples.
Yesterday, social media followers were ecstatic to see the 58-year-old John Wick star walking the red carpet with his girlfriend, the 50-year-old artist Alexandra Grant.
The couple walked hand-in-hand when they arrived at the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night and even shared a kiss in front of the paparazzi.
It was incredible to see Keanu Reeves, who is without a doubt one of Hollywood’s most popular icons, looking so cheerful, especially given the loss he has endured during his life.
In fact, Keanu Reeves recently raved about his relationship with Grant, telling PEOPLE that his most recent “moment of bliss” occurred in bed with “his honey.”
When asked about his most recent blissful experience, the actor said, “A couple of days ago with my honey.” We were both asleep. We were linked. We were giggling, laughing, and smiling. I’m in a good mood. It was simply wonderful to be together.”

And, at 58 and 50 years old, Keanu Reeves and Grant appear to be a refreshing sight for fans, with many hailing the duo for their “age-appropriate” relationship.
After the couple made news over the weekend, one Twitter user remarked, “Holy s**t, Keanue’s girlfriend is 50, and they’ve been dating for 4 years.” OUTSTANDINGLY OLD FOR HOLLYWOOD […] Keanu proving once again that he’s too average to be a movie star.”
“Keanu Reeves has an age-appropriate partner who has grey hair,” another agreed on Twitter. It’s such a refreshing shift to see men dating ladies their daughters’ age. I adore him and wish them both happiness.”
In response to trolls’ harsh comments on a Fox News piece, a third wrote: “I’m so pleased for Keanu! I wish people who make unpleasant remarks would cease! It took Keanu a long time to discover love following the death of his girlfriend and child! At least he chose someone similar in age rather than someone under 25 like some prominent individuals!”

Keanu Reeves and Grant allegedly met in 2009 after she assisted him in co-publishing his first book, Ode to Happiness.
Grant developed the illustrations for Keanu Reeves’ set of poetry and handed the drawings to the actor within another book called ‘The British Scene’ as a surprise.
Their romance was kept quiet for years until they were caught holding hands at a film gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) in 2019, and the two have appeared inseparable since.
After finally going public, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE at the time: “Keanu wants to openly share his life with her […] He is extremely happy and grateful to have Alex in his life.”
Grant was even asked about the potential of marriage during an interview with Vogue in 2020, speaking about their relationship. “Over a glass of wine…” she replied. I wish I could tell you. Love is fundamental to my identity on many levels. “How’s that for sidestepping the question?”
“I do not believe that isolation is the way,” she said. “There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”
It’s simply amazing to see Reeves so happy. He deserves it more than anybody else. We wish them the best of luck.
