Although she has been single since September, her divorce battle was not over. There is a lot of work to be done when children and property are involved.
Brandon Blackstock wanted to live on their ranch in Montana, but Kelly wanted to sell it. The couple fought for custody of their children, and there was also the issue of child support and spousal support.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon has finalized the terms of the divorce. The children are with Kelly. Brandon only gets to see his children one weekend a month. If he leaves Montana, those terms will be changed.
Brandon will have to leave the Montana ranch by June 1st, so he will have to pay Kelly’s rent.
Brandon will only be able to see his children one weekend a month, but he still gets over $40,000 a month in child support to make it easier for the children to visit. Depending on how much upkeep expenses are at his new home, that amount may be changed.
Brandon gets support but not forever. The support will end in 2024.
