Kelsey Grammer is in the Christmas spirit and has a brand new Christmas movie to show off.
According to Deadline, the “Frasier” and “X-Men” star will appear alongside his daughter, Spencer Grammer, in a Lifetime holiday movie as part of the network’s festive lineup in 2022.
Grammar, 67, plays businessman Brian Conway in “The 12 Days of Christmas Eve,” who has a difficult relationship with his daughter (Spencer Grammer) and granddaughter due to his focus on work.
Brian, on the other hand, has a chance at redemption with a little Christmas magic. According to Deadline, “after Brian is involved in a car accident on Christmas Eve, Santa gives him twelve chances to redo the day and repair the relationships in his life in order to discover the true meaning of Christmas.”
Spencer Grammer, 39, is best known for her roles as Summer Smith in “Rick and Morty” and Casey Cartwright in ABC’s “Greek.”
This appears to be the first time she and her father have appeared on screen together.
“I cannot express how talented my daughter is, and working with her is long overdue.” “I am very excited about it,” Grammar told Deadline.
“Additionally, there is nothing I enjoy more than a good Christmas movie.” “He went on. “That’s exactly what we’re doing with Lifetime, Spencer, and the rest.”
Grammer’s “Frasier” reboot, which he is executive producing, was picked up by Paramount+ earlier this month, according to Deadline.
Almost two decades after “Frasier” ended in 2004, the upcoming series will follow the adventures of the beloved radio psychiatrist in a new city.
