Kevin Durant and his free agency is getting closer and we are getting to hear several speculations about what will happen next. Currently, the New York Knicks is the hottest team under speculation and Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher has fired up the narrative.
Kevin Durant is going to the New York Knicks and it’s a “done deal”. Durant wants to be the franchise’s real face and be on his own. Even though Durant is the best closer of the Golden State Warrior, he may not necessarily be the team’s main guy. Steph Curry has been carrying that mantle despite his contribution in the previous years.
It seems that Durant wants to be a champion and not be a part of the Warriors at the same time. Durant was widely criticized for his decision when he joined the Dubs. Even though he won two championship at that time, not everyone appreciates that.
As per Bucher, Durant’s decision is a done deal. But do you feel the same? Bucher has made several predictions and not all of them have turned out to be true. So there is no surety that this prediction will turn out to be true. But if it turns out to be true, it would be interesting to see what happens when Kevin Durant becomes a free agent.
Previously, Durant denied all rumors about joining the Knicks and said that he is not related to it.
It is not sure when Durant will be seen as a free agent as he was spotted wearing a Warriors jersey.
