Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were spotted picking up several meals at a Rialto, California, McDonald’s drive-thru on Tuesday, adding to rumors that they were getting back together.
The reality star, who is 38, and the NBA player, who is 32, broke up in 2021 because Tristan had a child with Khloe while they were dating. They looked happy as they picked up their food while sitting in the front seat together.
Khloe Kardashian looked stylish in sunglasses and with her hair slicked back as she smiled at a worker while Tristan sat next to her.
Witnesses told TMZ that the couple bought a lot of food and Happy Meals, likely for their five-year-old daughter True and Tristan’s six-year-old son Prince.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan also have a son who is eight months old and was born through a surrogate. His name isn’t known yet.
Last month, Khloe Kardashian faced a lot of criticism on social media for praising her ex-boyfriend for being a good parent, even though the serial cheater is said to have ignored the child he had with Maralee Nichols behind Khloe’s back.
Khloe Kardashian called Tristan the “best father” in a heartfelt birthday tribute in which she shared photos of him loving their two children. This led to rumors that the two were back together.
Since the athlete doesn’t seem to have a relationship with his son Theo, many Twitter users blasted Khloe Kardashian and asked:

One Twitter user commented on the funny look of a confused toddler by writing:

Another critic said that the history of the couple’s relationship was like “humiliation k*nk,” and someone else said:

One troll did try to help the reality star by tweeting:

Khloe Kardashian took that piece of advice and turned off comments on her Instagram, but the negative comments kept spreading on Twitter:

Maralee Nichols, Theo’s mother, seemed to respond to the uproar in a subtle way when she posted a heartwarming picture of herself holding the cute little boy on her Instagram Story.
Khloe Kardashian’s controversial post seemed to be about Tristan’s multiple affairs since she wrote that she hoped he would continue to “crave change, healing, and transformation” in the future.
Thompson and Nichols had a baby in March 2021, when Tristian was still dating Khloe, who was already pregnant.
Tristan and Khloe Kardashian’s relationship has been rocky over the years, with the athlete cheating on the reality star more than once.
In 2018, Dailymail.com reported that Tristan cheated on Khloe, who was pregnant at the time, with a New York City stripper named Lani Blair. On April 14, 2018, their daughter True was born.
At the time, other news sources said there were more women. Despite the cheating scandal, Khloe stayed with Tristan until February 2019, when she broke up with the athlete.
Tristan kissed Jordyn Woods after a house party in February 2019. This was the second time he was caught cheating.
It’s interesting to see that the Kardashian family mostly blamed Jordyn on social media and on KUWTK, while Tristan and his actions seemed to be forgotten. At the time, she was 21 and Tristan was 27. Khloe was 34.
Even though things were bad, Tristan and Khloe Kardashian got back together during the COVID-19 pandemic when they went into lockdown with their daughter in March 2020.
Khloe and Tristan reportedly broke up for the second time in June 2021.

Khloe has said in the past that she felt “numb” when her older sister Kim told her about Tristan’s secret child, which was heartbreaking news for her.
