Kill La Kill season 2 is being anticipated by a number of fans all over the globe. Premiering all the way back in the year 2013, there hasn’t been any announcement for another season yet. Over the past years, many rumours have surfaced online over the news, however, Trigger is silent over the renewal. Many even came across a random rumor of the release date of season two in 2019.

Kill La Kill: No Season 2
However, believe it or not, we won’t be seeing another season of Kill La Kill. The original season seems to be all we will get and Trigger Studio hasn’t renewed the series. Usually, a series has a lot of source material available which keeps the hopes of fans alive for another season. In the case of Kill La Kill, we don’t have much chance for another season.
The first season of Kill La Kill had a total of 24 episodes. This means that it was already split in two parts. However, there’s still a chance for another season but it does seem highly unlikely. Fans should come to the fact that we won’t see another season of Kill La Kill anytime soon.
Kill La Kill: Plot
The Kill La Kill series was a hit among fans, getting an 8.8 score on MyAnimeList. The only way it can return is via Netlfix, but if this doesn’t happen, Kill La Kill won’t return. The first season kick started in 2013 and in September 2014, an OVA titled “Goodbye Again” aired on 3rd September. It aired over Adult Swim Network in the US.
The Kill La Kill story happens in Japan where Ryuuko is seeking revenge. She goes all the way through the country to punish those who are guilty. With a Scissor Blade in hand, she is aware that killer kept the half of the weapon. Enrolling in Honnouji Academy, which is an institution, Ryuuko feels that someone knows the assassination details in the school.
She comes across the Elite Four, led by Satsuki who kept all under fear. Ryuuko gets taken out by Satsuki until Ryuuko returns later to defeat him after he finds the rare God Clothes.
