Kim Kardashian is getting ready to visit the American Horror Story set.
She’s been in front of the camera for years, but in the latest season of the long-running TV show, she’ll have to rehearse her lines and present a convincing performance.
Fans were outraged when Kim Kardashian was announced as a new cast member for the show’s 12th season.
Some have even stated that they will boycott the upcoming installment because they are opposed to the idea of a reality TV star being given a major role.
An American Horror Story star also criticized the casting decision.
Patti LuPone, who played Joan Ramsey in the show’s third season, told Andy Cohen on What Happens Next Live that she believes Kardashian has stolen the part from a proper actor.

She made a dig at Kardashian at one particularly pointed moment when she recalled a Noel Coward play.
“Excuse, excuse me Kim…what are you doing with your life?” the 74-year-old quipped, adding: “Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington.”
When the director yells “Action!” it appears that Kim will rise to the occasion.
She mentioned at the 2023 Met Gala that she had been working hard to put on a real performance.
“We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month,” she revealed to Variety. “But production has already started and I’m so excited.
“It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience.”
She was asked if she was taking acting lessons and she replied with: “I am, of course. It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself.”
Kim Kardashian has the support of American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Murphy was blown away by the reality star’s performance as a guest presenter on Saturday Night Live in 2021.
He told the outlet: “Kim Kardashian is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family.
“Emma [Roberts] and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.
“Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim Kardashian, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry, Cara Delevingne, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, MJ Rodriguez, and Odessa A’zion will also appear in American Horror Story: Delicate.
