Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a beautiful romance going on and the wedding was blossoming. However, it all came crashing down when they broke up and the ‘Heartless’ singer went APE on social media. Then, the news of Kim dating Pete Davidson went viral and West destroyed the couple on social media. Moreover, Kim got custody of the kids – North (9), Chicago (4), and sons Saint (6) and Psalm (3) – and she has now explained what it’s like to co-parent with someone as controversial as West. The rapper has been constantly making headlines after his anti-Semitic comments, saying he loves Hitler, and when he severed his working relations with Balenciaga and Adidas.
The SKIMS founder told Angie Martinez, “Co-parenting is hard. It’s really f—king hard. I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that. That’s what I would want for them. If they don’t know the things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That’s really heavy grown-up s–t that they’re not ready to deal with.”

Kim Kardashian opened up about being prepared for any answer her children would have regarding their father’s controversial deeds. She remained persistent in not saying anything bashful about her ex-husband for the sake of her little ones. She said, One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could. All the crazy s–t. They’ll thank me and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. It’s not my place anymore to jump in.”
After seven of years of marriage, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021 and ended it all. She went on to say, “I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids for my kids. In my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on on the outside world … I’m holding on by a thread. I know I’m so close to that not happening. While that’s still happening, I will protect that to the ends of the earth as long as I can.” They finalized their divorce on November 29 and currently have custody with equal access to their four kids. West is paying Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support.
