A task was given to Michael Libasci, a marine deputy in Martin County of finding the course of tiny cries coming from the water.
When he reached the spot, what he found out was surprising. A tint black kitten was struggling through the waves to survive.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office posted the following description of the event on Facebook:
“It’s not a typical water rescue, but this one had everything to do with nine lives.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Marine Unit was called to an area near the Roosevelt Bridge after a good Samaritan called to say they could hear tiny cries coming from the water.”
