After the latest LA Lakers vs Denver Nuggets match in the NBA, it doesn’t make sense to compare both teams. In the latest match of the Western Conference Finals, the Lakers were behind the Nuggets by at least 10 points for most of the game.
The Lakers never led in the final 44 minutes and 54 seconds. Moreover, they lost the match 119-107 on the opening night itself. So, does it still make sense to compare the LA Lakers with the Denver Nuggets?
Nuggets Dominate Lakers in Opening Night Rematch
The latest match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets hints that the Nuggets are far ahead of the Lakers. The Nuggets beat the Los Angeles by double digits for most of the WC Finals rematch and eventually defeated them 119-107.
The Lakers promised that they would make the Nuggets pay back, but this time, they could even come close to beating the Nuggets.

The Lakers have many great players on their roster, whether it be LeBron James, Anthony Davis, or any other star player. The LA Lakers were to beat the Nuggets due to last season’s playoff defeat against them. However, they didn’t do anything to change the fans’ perception on the opening night.
“This is you! This is your fault!” 🤣

The Lakers are one of the attention-seeking NBA teams. On the other hand, some teams, like the Denver Nuggets, don’t get a lot of media attention even when they win games.
The last time, when the Lakers defeated the Nuggets in 2020, Dwight Howard of the Lakers teased Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, calling him a “Joker.”
Nuggets-Lakers Rivalry Heats Up After Coach’s Comments
The Denver Nuggets coach, Michale Malone, called themselves the “Lakers’ daddy.” However, the LA Lakers’ superstar, James, couldn’t digest the fact his team was being made fun of.
Not only LeBron James but other Lakers players also didn’t like the remarks made by Malone.
Nikola Jokic, who was being made fun of by the Lakers’ Howard, outperformed the Los Angeles single-handedly.
