When you fly, there is always a chance that something will go wrong, like your flight is late, the Transportation Security Administration searching your bag, or you having to deal with rude passengers.
When she woke up from her nap on an airplane, a woman told the woman sitting next to her about a strange thing that had happened to her.
The woman woke up to find a child had drawn on her white socks. The child had been sitting in front of her when she fell asleep.
Julie, who goes by the username @juliaxxxv, is the TikTok user who posted a video about her experience flying. More than 51,000 people have watched it.
Julie says that she fell asleep while flying and put her feet up on the edge of the armrest of the seat in front of her.
She had taken her shoes off at the time in question, so all she had on her feet was a pair of white socks.
When she woke up, she saw that her socks were covered in blue and purple ink, which had been written on while she was sleeping.
I woke up to some random kid drawing on my white socks,
she wrote in a textbox over the video.
A young child’s whining could be heard coming from the front direction.
Julie shakes her head as she looks through her socks.
Bruhh ew,
she writes.
On the other hand, a lot of people thought that everything that happened was Julie’s fault.
The video that Julie posted to her TikTok was uploaded to the subreddit r/mildlyinfuriating, and the people who used that community thought that Julie was to blame for what happened.
Julie was blamed by a lot of people because she had ruined her socks by putting them on the child’s seat rest.
Which action is more mildly infuriating? The person sticking their feet into the seat in front, or the kid drawing on their socks.

the Redditor who shared the video to the subreddit asked other users.
Get your feet off their seat then. Gross,
one user commented.
Right on. It’s an armrest, not a footrest,
another user pointed out.
Yeah in fact I myself have seen numerous Reddit posts by people taking pictures of intruding feet on an airplane, and the comments are always telling them to do something exactly like this!
a user commented.
Totally agree. If the person didn’t put their feet there, then the child wouldn’t have drawn on their sock. Simple math?!??
another added.
Others were much more worried about Julie taking off her shoes while they were in the air.
I don’t see the position of the foot as THAT big a deal. Looks like they are still in their own space. The real issue is taking off your f–king shoes,”
one user expressed.
In case all you people who take your shoes off on airplanes didn’t know it, that plane is not your home,
another user pointed out.
When other people saw what the child had done, they thought it was funny and harmless that he had drawn on Julie’s socks.
I couldn’t imagine even actually getting mad about it, waking up to someone touching your foot and being super creeped out to just realize its a kid drawing on you like you’re just some cheap pad of paper to them,
user wrote.
I would probably even gift them my sock.
Bless him. The kid is doing God’s work,

When Julie gets on a plane again, she should really think about whether or not she should take off her shoes and put her feet up on the seat in front of her.
