On Sunday, Lady Gaga won the Best Original Song Golden Globe award for “Shallow”, her soaring ballad.

As a woman in music, it is really hard to be taken seriously as a musician and a songwriter….they lifted me up, they supported me.
“A Star is Born” has been nominated for five major awards at the Golden Globes including Best Actress for Gaga, Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director for Cooper and Best Actor for co-star Bradley Cooper.
Last Thursday, at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cooper has said,
I was just hoping that I wouldn’t fail miserably. It’s vulnerable, you know, writing, co-writing, telling a story and directing it. I mean I had no idea what was going to happen. I just knew that I had to try.
Cooper was happy to see that “A Star is Born” was well received by the audience and wanted to savour the moment.
The co-stars have become really good friends and Gaga was really proud to be there. Gaga feels that their friendship is the best reward that she got out of it and someone whom she deeply respects. Gaga said that they talk all the time and it’s a friendship that will last long.
Gaga even spoke about it at the gala where Cooper was honoured as a 32nd American Cinematheque Award honouree.
Cooper said that he is planning to attend Enigma, Gaga’s Las Vegas residency, amidst the busy awards season. Cooper is really excited for it. He was really bummed about not making it to the opening show.
