LeBron James and Kyrie Irving reuniting has been one of the dreams of the fans which induced a lot of talks about the possibility that Kyrie Irving might get into the Los Angeles Lakers.
But the reunion will remain a dream for a while now since Irving signed an extension with the Dallas Mavericks for three years. He has made a $216 million deal out of which $6 million will be incentives tied to the matches he’ll play and their results.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving History
LeBron and Kyrie were a phenomenal duo. While they were teammates with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2014 to 2017, they did wonders together. Winning the 2016 NBA Championship was one of them. They formed a terrific duo. There is no wonder why people still like them or the possibility of them playing together again.
While that seems impossible now, ESPN’s very-known sports writer Brian Windhorst talked about their reunion on his podcast called ‘Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective’. The episode is titled ‘LeBron Returns, Can Phoenix’s Aggressive Approach Work?’

Is there a possibility of a LeBron James and Kyrie Irving Reunion?
In the episode, Windhorst said, “I will say this: I do think LeBron has an interest in playing with Kyrie Irving again. I think he likes the idea of playing with Kyrie — the concept of playing with Kyrie and Anthony Davis. I have long said the best big-man pairing that LeBron’s ever had, as far as pure fit, is Anthony Davis. I believe the best guard pairing LeBron’s ever had is Kyrie Irving.”
Currently, Kyrie has extended his term with the Mavericks. The season has been pretty unfulfilling for Irving in Dallas, along with Luka Doncic. Kyrie has had trades very often, and it is possible that may happen again if things don’t work out at Dallas.
On the other hand, James is set on winning the championship, and Kyrie is something he knows would only be beneficial for him.

Irving has extended his term with the Mavericks, so there obviously isn’t going to be a LeBron James and Kyrie Irving reunion this season but there might still be possibilities in the future.
