The last surviving member of LFO musician Brad Fischetti is reportedly mourning the death of his close friend Devin Lima who was also a bandmate of Fischetti.
Brad Fischetti said in a recent statement that “it was a very heartbreaking that he has to confirm that his bandmate and close friend Harold ‘Devin’ Lima has passed away on early Wednesday morning after battling cancer. Fischetti continued the world knows Harold by the name Devin as a talented person who was an ideal father to his six children and also a loving partner to their mother. Devin was also a beloved brother, a son and a friend to a lot of people.
According to Fischetti, a few days before Devin passed away, Devin told Fischetti that when everything is over, then he should let everyone know that, “I disappeared.” And by keeping his promise, Brad told the world that “Harold ‘Devin’ Lima has disappeared.
LFO gained massive popularity in the 90s and the band comprised of Fischetti and Lima. Initially, the pop group was a trio with Rich Cronin as the lead singer. The pop group disbanded in the year 2010 after Rich Cronin died due to Leukemia at 35 years old.
Fischetti and Lima reunited for the last time and resumed their touring in the year 2017. And the pop duo released their song “Perfect 10” in 15 years.
The pop duo was also commenced to tour earlier in 2018, but they put their plans on hold after Lima was reportedly hospitalized in the later months of 2017 after the doctors discovered a tumor on Devin’s adrenal gland. Cancer even spread to Devin’s kidney, and it had to be removed.
On October 2017, Fischetti said that he wishes that we had good news to share, but it isn’t.
LFO sold more than 4 million records worldwide, and the band is best known for their acclaimed songs Girl on TV and Summer Girls.
