Lucifer Season 4 saw a comeback with the help of online streaming platform Netflix after multiple setbacks. Season 4 of the show was renewed thanks to Netflix and was dropped on the website a few days ago. Eager fans of the show have already binge-watched the entire installment.
Lucifer Season 4: Lucifer back in hell
At the end of the season 4, Lucifer, played by Tom Ellis, was in a somewhat difficult situation as he found himself back in hell. As demons plagued the streets of Los Angeles, it was obviously the right decision for the Lord of Hell. Though he was certainly unhappy to leave behind the one thing he loved the most – Chloe Decker.
Although Decker, played by Lauren German, almost went behind his back during the course of the season, she ultimately made peace with the fact that she was in love with the devil. But unfortunately, for the couple, Lucifer had to go back to hell.
However, show writers are already eager to bring him back to earth in the 5th season. Talking to an entertainment website, Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson revealed that they are looking forward to the next season.
Showrunners excited for Lucifer season 5 release
Henderson said:
“We have a lot of exciting ways [to bring him back], and one way in particular, to do it that launches an awesome, awesome season 5.
Furthermore, he added:
We did spend some time digging into what we think can be season 5. We even have the first scene [of season 5], which is one of my favourite things we’ve ever come up with.”

Also, Modrovich expressed his excitement about the next season. He said,
“If everybody is speculating on one thing, we just try to think as a bats**t as we can, as outside of the box as possible, so that people don’t get bored, so we don’t get bored. We do have an idea. It’s an idea that when it came up in the room, we went, ‘Oh god, that’s crazy.’ Then the more we talked about it, the more we went, ‘and brilliant. Those are the ones that often stick and those are the ones that help to define our show.”
