But there is more good news for fans of the show. Some Lucifer cast members appeared on FanX where they talked openly about what lies in store for the fans’ favorite show.
Delivering a ‘burn’ to Fox
Tom Ellis and Aimee Garcia showed up to the interview, and Garcia was pretty excited to talk about the future of Lucifer. She hinted that the show might just get a season 5 and 6. Netflix has made no official announcements for what happens to the show after season 4.
Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer Morningstar, the titular character, then talked about how it was a blessing that the Lucifer season 4 was canceled by Fox. He also added,
“It’s been so overwhelming. I don’t think we knew and really don’t think Fox knew just how popular the show was.”
Garcia talked about how they delivered a “burn” to Fox. She said,
“From one tweet that Tom sent out to the world and for it to catch fire globally and 8.5 million people around the world coming together in a Lucifer family to resurrect is the biggest burn.”
Lucifer: New romance on horizon
Last month, Netflix released a promo for the show which featured Tom Ellis along with Lauren German, who plays Chloe Decker, as well as a new addition to the show, Lavi Inbar, who is set to play Eve. The promo teased the start of a new romance between Lucifer and Chloe.
Another of the biggest reveals of the last season was when the devil showed his real face to Chloe. How that will affect their new dynamic, only time will tell.
Fans will have to wait for the 4th season of Lucifer to release. But they can stream the first three seasons on Netflix right now.
