Luke Grimes is a well-known American actor and musician who has garnered attention for his portrayal of real-life Navy SEAL Marc Alan Lee in the critically acclaimed movie American Sniper.

Early Life
Luke Anthony Grimes was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 21, 1984 to a Pentecostal pastor. In 2002, he graduated from Dayton Christian High School and later relocated to New York City to pursue an acting education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Career
Luke Grimes has appeared in many movies, like All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, War Eagle, Arkansas, and Assassination of a High School President. The movie was only released in a few theaters in March 2009.
He was in the ABC show Brothers & Sisters. He played Ryan Lafferty, who was not William Walker’s child. He was promoted to a regular cast member starting from Season 4.
In 2010, Grimes took on the lead role of Eli Larkin in the FX movie pilot, Outlaw Country, alongside actresses Haley Bennett and Mary Steenburgen.
