Early Life & Family
Lyssa Rae Chapman was born as the ninth child out of twelve to Duane “Dog” Chapman, on June 10, 1987. Her mother, Lyssa Rae Brittain (formerly Greene), is his third wife. She is often referred to as “Baby Lyssa” to differentiate from her mother, known as “Big Lyssa”.
Her father raised her until she turned 10, and then she moved to a small town in Alaska called Anderson to live with her mother. For six years, she had no communication with her father.
However, she eventually joined him in running their family business, Da Kine Bail Bonds. Her appearance on Season 2 Episode 16 of Dog and Beth: On the Hunt was notable.
Lyssa Chapman’s first daughter, Abbie Mae Chapman, was born the day after she turned fifteen. In an interview during Lyssa’s second pregnancy, it was disclosed that Abbie’s father was 24 years old when she was conceived. He was later taken into custody for committing statutory rape.

Lyssa Chapman tied the knot with Brahman “Bo” Galanti on February 20, 2009, in Oahu, Hawaii. They share a daughter named Madalynn Grace Galanti, in addition to their children from previous relationships.
However, in February 2011, Chapman initiated divorce proceedings with Galanti. This was followed by her arrest on March 15, 2011, for damaging property and assaulting a law enforcement officer.
Chapman later tied the knot with Leiana Evensen in a private ceremony officiated by Chapman’s “Uncle David” on June 3, 2022. The wedding took place in the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii, and the couple had previously owned a tanning salon together.
