So far mobile shopping has been the most dominated trend of both the Thanksgving as well as the Black Friday. The trend has been harmonizing with the growth and profits of the Macy’s.

The CEO, Gennette stated that they are going to achieve the mobile sales worth $1 billion for the very first time n the year of 2018.
He further added that the mobile has now become a “mode of choice” not only for calling but also for research, seeking reviews as well as transactions and this is just “going to increase.”
Macy’s, which is a departmental store chain, has been working upon improving its platform for the mobile shopping.
It has been doing so by providing new and unique services such as the checkout of the mobile phones in order to compete with the popularity of Amazon along with several other convenient solutions of shopping.
The departmental store chain is also planning to introduce augmented reality feature to its app in order to enable its customers to be able to try the beauty products at home, virtually.
All these plans which serve as improvements are coming at an important time when the shopping of mobile phones experiences an explosive growth.
According to the Adobe Analytics, on the Thanksgiving day for the year, the sales of the smartphones accounted for 36.7 percent of the total sales compared to 29.1 percent for the previous year.
