Reports say that Madeleine McCann’s family has asked a woman who says she is their daughter to take a DNA test.
Madeleine McCann, who was 3 years old, went missing from her bed in a vacation apartment in Portugal on May 3, 2007.
Her disappearance has been called “the most reported case of a missing person in recent times.”
Now, a woman who says she might be Madeleine McCann has shown two pieces of “evidence” that, according to her, prove she is the missing girl.

This week, Julia Wandelt said on Instagram that she might be Madeleine McCann.
At the time of this writing, more than 895,000 people follow her account, which has the handle @iammadeleinemccann.
The Polish woman, who is 21 years old, says that she looks a lot like Madeleine McCann in a number of ways.
In one video, Julia shows a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye that are in the same places as those of the girl who has been missing for a long time.
She also thinks that she looks like Kate and Gerry McCann, Madeleine McCann’s parents.
Julia says that after her original posts went viral, the McCann family asked her to take a DNA test.
A person who knows the McCanns well said:
The family are taking no chances, they are willing to look at all leads.
It is important they look at all of the factors, the girl does look similar. There’s no disputing that.
If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up.
Someone from the McCann family has apparently come forward to take a DNA test.
Julia hopes that she will be able to talk to Madeleine McCann’s parents soon. On her Instagram profile, she wrote:
Thank you for your support! Kate and Gerry McCann agreed to a DNA test!
But the McCann family hasn’t said anything about Julia’s claims yet.
Julia says that her grandmother told her “something” that made her start to wonder if she was Madeleine “a few months ago.”
Julia thinks that she might not be 21 even though she says she is.
Madeleine McCann was born in May 2003, which makes her 19 years old right now.
Julia says, in response to questions from her many fans, that she doesn’t remember being taken away and doesn’t remember much of her childhood.
She says:
I don’t remember being taken away. I mean, I don’t remember almost my entire childhood.
Even though Julia tries hard to prove that she misses Madeleine, skeptics say there are “glaring problems” with her story.
A source says that neither the Metropolitan Police in London nor the campaign to find Madeleine has made any statements.
They have done this before when there was a good chance of seeing or finding the person.
If there are important developments that can be made public, they will be issued through official police channels,
the family said in 2020 after a new suspect in the case was revealed.
Also, a lot of people commenting online say that Julia doesn’t look like Madeleine.
They say that the mark on her eye is a little different from Madeleine’s, and others say that her jawline looks different from Madeleine’s.
But some people on social media say that her face may have changed a little bit in the past 16 years.
Julia tells her followers that she doesn’t want to go viral and that she “truly believes” she is Madeleine. She has even asked her parents for proof that she was born and called the police.
I have asked for pictures of when my mum was pregnant with me, other medical records and any pictures from my childhood and she never shows them, she just always tells me I’m crazy.
My school teacher when I was very young said that I wasn’t there from the start but my parents insist I was.
After all this confusion I began to do my own research and I discovered what had happened to Madeleine McCann and started to piece together the similarities we shared.
It has been so stressful trying to get people to listen to me.
