Los Angeles, California: Julia Wandelt, a Polish national, has written a letter to Madeleine McCann’s parents, Kate and Gerry, expressing her suspicion that she is the missing girl. I truly believe I could be Madeleine, said Wandelt, also known as Julia Faustyna and Julia Wendell.
Julia told us that she had listened to Kate’s voice when she was younger after hearing her singing to Madeleine in a video. “I have something to say to Kate McCann. I heard one of the songs you sang to Madeleine. I truly know this voice, your voice, when I hear it in movies or interviews. I genuinely think I could pass for Madeleine.
‘Nobody listened to me.’
The 21-year-old also criticized Interpol and the police in Poland, England, and Portugal for failing to take her allegations seriously. This includes the claim that she was sexually abused as a child by a male. According to reports, the same guy was also named as a suspect in Madeleine’s case.
Julia said, “If I’m not Madeleine McCann, I know I can reopen this case. Back in 2022, I tried to communicate with a lot of officials. I spoke with the Polish, Portuguese, and English embassies, the Metropolitan Police and Operation Grange (a multimillion-dollar, multiyear British police investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance), Interpol, the Polish and Portuguese police, and the embassy in Poland, but no one listened to me.
‘I want to expose my abuser.’
I have a message for McCann’s family, she continued. We have to wait for (DNA) results, but I think even if I am not — I want to believe that I am. I want to say that I really believe I can be Madeleine, your daughter, but if I’m not, I’m over 100% sure that the person who abused me is involved because I recognize a picture from the website findmadeleine.com.
I want to help by disclosing my abuser since I am quite sure that this is from the findmadeleine.com website… I’ve included a photo of my abuser. I recognize his face. This is this person. I’m certain of it. We will eventually learn the truth; I’m that we will know.
‘Julia is our daughter.’
This comes after Julia’s alleged biological family in Poland shared a statement claiming that she has a mental health condition. They said, “For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. We have memories. We have pictures. Julia also has these photos because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate and numerous hospital discharges.”
“We always made an effort to comprehend Julia’s circumstances. Julia had everything covered, including several treatments, medications, psychologists, and psychiatrists. She wasn’t abandoned. Julia’s falsehoods and deceptions, threats to our address, and online behavior. We have witnessed everything and have made efforts to stop it by warning her and explaining the situation. Julia had dreams of being a model or singer. She always aspired to be well-liked. She now has one million followers, according to the statement’s conclusion.
