At the home of Honda, Motegi, Marquez ensures a seventh title under his belt which will be his fifth premier class crown
In Japan, the Honda team star Marc Marquez, claimed his seventh World Championship. This is the fifth premier class crown for the number 93 starlet in six years. This leaves him with no MotoGP™ Champion crown only in the year 2015 since he graduated. That gives the 25 year old Spaniard more than eighty three percent success rate while he still continues to work his line of attack through the record books.

Making his way in to the exclusive club of Valentino Rossi, Giacomo Agostini and Mick Doohan the Honda starlet becomes the youngest rider to reach seven Championships in total and to win five premier class titles. This makes Marquez one of only four men to have won five or more premier class crowns.
Just 2 years after making his debut as a 15 year old, in 2010 at the 125th Championship, Marquez’ rose to glory with his first title on the world stage. The racing world witnessed a world class finisher in the year 2010 in which Marquez not only wrote his name on the crown but also won 10 of the last 14 races of that year. But unfortunately that year ended with some injury struggles to the number 93. However, he had impressed the racing world with his ability.
Marquez made his move to Moto2™ in the year 2011. With crashes on field the Spaniard had a difficult start to the season. But later in to the season he began his winning run and with gaining some serious momentum he went on to clench 7 victories which helped him to shut down the distance to Championship leader Stefan Bradl.
Finally, starting from an equal worst qualifying position of the season in P6 Marquez went on to finish the job at the home of Honda. The number 93 continues to assert his dominance on the MotoGP™ World Championship.
