We all know someone who loves animals so much that he/she would anything to keep them safe. And today, we have brought another such great story that is going to restore your faith in humanity.
The story is about Ricardo Pimentel and he works at an animal sanctuary called Tierra de Animales. After hurricane Delta has destroyed everything, Ricardo thought of helping the animals at the shelter house. He knew that all of the animals won’t fit in the shelter house, that’s why he brought them to his home.
He brought cats, dogs, and other animals to his house. In total, there were 300 animals at his house. Besides bringing the animals to his home, Ricardo also provided them all the things that they need.

Ricardo heard about Hurricane Delta and knew he needed to create a safe place for all the stray animals
Ricardo told us that, “those 300 dogs that I took into my house are some of the ones that already live at Tierra de Animales. It’s just that we don’t have enough hurricane-proof shelters for all the dogs, so to keep them safe from that, we decided to put them in the house.”
He took some animals into his own home because they wouldn’t fit in the shelter he works in
“They were very well-behaved all night during the meteorological phenomenon. They are all spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Almost all of them are ready to be adopted.”
His house was filled with dogs of all shapes and sizes
“I have been rescuing animals almost all my life since I was a kid, and I founded Tierra de Animales 9 years ago. We not only rescue dogs but also cats, turtles, iguanas, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, etc.”
Soon, there were about 300 of them
“We work with the help of people from all over the world, who donate whatever they can. Of course, after all the damage that the hurricane Delta left behind, we need more help than ever, especially because we are going to build more and better shelters for all the animals of the sanctuary.”
There were not only dogs that needed saving but cats, goats, and chickens—no one was left behind
