When one person asks the other to marry them, it’s a moment they’ll remember fondly for the rest of their lives. This makes it a very special moment. Yasushi “Yassan” Takahashi knew this, so he went on a six-month trip across Japan with his girlfriend while using Google Earth to track his route and spell out “Marry Me” with a heart over the map of the country. While Yasushi “Yassan” Takahashi was on the trip, he asked his girlfriend to marry him.
Yassan first thought of using GPS art to propose to his girlfriend Natsuki in 2008. Google says that GPS art is
the act of creating a large-scale digital drawing by traveling with a GPS device along a predetermined route. When the route is uploaded to a mapping tool like Google Earth, a form takes shape.
Yassan quit his job and went on a trip across Japan to spell “Marry Me.” He started his trip on the island of Hokkaido and ended up on the coast of Kagoshima. He had to drive 4,451 miles and work for six months to finish the drawing for the grand proposal. Yassan finally asked Natsuki to marry him by showing her his completed trip on Google Earth. This could be one of the most carefully planned marriage proposals ever. Yassan’s drawing also gave him the Guinness World Record for the largest GPS drawing ever made. And in case you were wondering, Natsuki said “Yes.”
Yassan started drawing GPS maps all over the world after his first plan to submit a proposal worked. The following statement is on his website:
He is a professional GPS artist with more than 1400 artworks. Drawn more than 100000 kilometers in 24 countries.
According to Google Maps, “Watermelon,” a dog who lives in the area, is a local landmark. A source says that Amagleba, a stray dog who lives on a street in Tbilisi, Georgia, has gotten good reviews on Google and that her fans love to feed her. She was given the name “Watermelon” because of how round her body is, and a blue tag was put behind her ear to show that she is a stray who doesn’t hurt other animals.
People follow Watermelon online because she is very popular and they want to learn more about her. The following is what a user named @Sve_tt says on Twitter:
It’s a girl! She was fed by her grandmother who lives above the vegetable soup shop during the lockdown. The lady has built her a house out of boxes where the dog currently lives.
Another user was surprised to find out that the “spherical dog” he sees every day is a “local attraction.”
He wrote while expressing surprise,
there are even reviews in Google maps.

There are sixty reviews of the dog on Google, and most of them call her a “sweet bun.” One Twitter user named @catchshirrecat even went out of his way to feed the dog by buying a can of food and encouraging other users to do the same. He said,
This is a sweet bun and you can still buy food for her and give it to the store near which it lies. They try to feed the bun only with certain foods because she’s old and sick.
As the dog’s fame grows, more and more people are taking care of her, which makes it more likely that she will be adopted soon.
