Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 6 is all set to air starting July 2019. Interestingly, while the recent trailer has claimed that Phil Coulson is dead – it appears that there’s more to it than what meets the eye! Actor Clark Gregg, who plays the role of Coulson is still around. He will now be playing a different, mysterious character in the series. This new character was teased by Coulson during an interview with Marvel.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 6 : Is Coulson Really Dead?
Now, this is a question that we’ve been asking since 2012. The character of Phil Coulson, who died in the first Avengers movie, was revived by Nick Fury in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Coulson was also promoted to the director of SHIELD.
The trailer of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD reveals that Coulson has now died. His death comes after the Kree DNA inside him was burnt as a result of being the Ghost Rider. He decided to spend the remainder of his life in Tahiti and that’s where he died, as per the trailer.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 6 : What’s Next for Quake?
Following the death of Coulson, it will be interesting to see what the future has for Quake/Daisy Johnson. In a recent interview, she told that the character will have a certain peace. However, the death of Coulson is going to leave a void!
It has also been revealed that Johnson is getting a new look in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Season 6. Is a Face-off between Johnson and ‘the different and mysterious’ Coulson in the books? We’ll find out soon!
