Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3 is among the last of Marvel shows to air on Netflix. Following the cancellation of Marvel’s Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, Jessica Jones remains the last of the defenders on Netflix. A third season was confirmed by Netflix in 2018. Here’s a closer look at everything that we know about Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3:
Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3: Release Date
The third season of Jessica Jones is all set to come out sometime in 2019. However, there is no exact timeline as to when. Marvel’s Netflix shows don’t really follow a pattern of release. Last year, Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 2 came out on the occasion of international women’s day.
We are not sure if Netflix plans to do that again this year. We can certainly eliminate July from the list of potential release dates – as Stranger Things Season 3 comes out on the 4th of July!
Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3: Cast
All your favourite characters from the Jessica Jones universe are set to re-appear for Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3. Jessica and her friend Patricia are two of the certain names. Apart from them, Malcolm Ducasse and Jerry Hogarth are also confirmed. It would be interesting to see if any characters from the older season make an appearance on the show.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3: Plot
Given that Season 3 is most likely the last season of Jessica Jones, the show is most probably coming to a happy ending. We expect some sort of a warm and feel-good, yet open-ended ending to the show. This would be quite similar to what we saw in Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3 where the characters end the show on a happier note.
