Julianna Farrait And Frank Lucas’ Relationship
Frank Lucas and Julianna were married to each other. In actuality, she didn’t start to receive media attention until after her marriage to Lucas—and definitely not for the right reasons. According to the stories, they were married in 1967 in a quiet ceremony held at the San Juan, Puerto Rico, judge of the peace. Known for their strong friendship as the “black Bonnie & Clyde,” the former couple first bonded on a plane ride to Puerto Rico, where Frank was visiting for a vacation.
Frank saw Julianna heading down the aisle while they were both travelling in first class. They looked at each other, and Julianna smiled back at him, so the former drug boss said. Despite the language barrier preventing the soon-to-be husband and wife pair from talking, Lucas was able to obtain her New York address. They didn’t speak to one another again for months after splitting up until they ran into each other again in a bar. Frank Lucas, Julianna’s spouse, was taken into custody at his New Jersey residence in 1975. Lucas had more than $500,000 taken by the authorities. After that, he was found guilty and given a 40-year prison term. Julianna received a five-year prison sentence in the same case.
Julianna Farrait was taken into custody on May 20, 2010, following her attempt to sell two kilograms of cocaine in a Puerto Rican hotel. In court, she was introduced. She asked the judge to speak in Spanish before the court, but she remained silent. Julianna was charged with planning to break the law regarding drugs. An earlier taped conversation was discovered over the course of the investigation. On the tape, Julianna was purportedly discussing her possession of cocaine with an undercover informant. She added that there was another suspect who had eight kilogrammes more of cocaine available for their potential buyers.
In order to sell the drugs she brought with her, Julianna allegedly met an informant in a hotel room in the ‘Isla Verde’ neighbourhood on May 19, 2010. The ‘Drug Enforcement Administration’ (DEA) agents caught her red-handed, and she was taken into custody. Federal officials in New York have been keeping a close eye on Julianna since February 2009.
