Leaks now a days have become common among people like us. The latest features of Facebook also gets leaked to the public even before Mark Zukerberg announces about it .

Meet the genius Jane Won who is a 23 year old software engineer at UMass Dartmouth. She is currently taking on a leave this year in Hong Kong. She has very interesting hobbies like photography, travelling, reverse engineering and chasing the bug bounties. She has been always keen to know about every single new tech. She is the reason behind some of the big scoops from tech giants like Instagram, Google and Facebook.
You can scroll through Wong’s Twitter account and you will find leak after leak, feature after feature. Dark theme is being applied to the messenger and redesigning of Facebook notification page were also leaked by her.
Many people can be found working as reverse engineer but Wong does it as a hobby and passion. She doesn’t have any intentions for earning money through it. Wong has even turned down huge offers from many tech publications looking for her to work for them.
What is the purpose behind doing this and why?
Reverse Engineering is a process by which construction of a program is first deconstructed and then reconstructed again in order to duplicate it and revealing the structure, strength and weaknesses.
Wong does so to know about the latest features and on what are some of the biggest tech companies working on. She was also the first person to leak about the Facebook’s dating feature. While doing her favorite activity if Wong finds something that needs to be fixed , she immediately reports it to the bug bounty programs.
