Mia Khalifa Recounts A Rude Joke Made By A Fan’s Girlfriend
Mia Khalifa was brought to tears after a fan’s girlfriend said something particularly offensive regarding her involvement in the adult entertainment industry.
During a conversation with YouTube sensation Anthony Padilla in 2021, the 30-year-old ex-adult actress revealed an episode that caused her to cry while she was out to dinner with her pals.
Khalifa, whose birth name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, first became well-known after beginning a career in the adult entertainment industry that she labeled as “abusive”.
Although she only shot a few videos, the actress became well-known almost instantly – including one that was highly debated due to her role as a Muslim, wearing a hijab, while performing sexual acts. During one point in her career, she was even one of the most searched adult celebrities on the web.
Mia Khalifa departed the business not long after, and since then has been outspoken about the mistreatment she experienced from those who took advantage of her in her vulnerable state.
Despite leaving her old job in the rear-view mirror, the online celebrity still feels her former career following her around to this day.
Mia recalled the incident that left her in tears while talking to Padilla,
“I was at a business meeting in London and I was there with a company that I had just signed with. It was the two men who were the heads of the company and my manager at the time.
She recounted that she was celebrating a successful press tour for the project when a couple came up to their table.
We were just sitting down celebrating having just done a great press tour for the project we were working on, and I get come up to [sic] by this guy and his girlfriend.”
Mia Khalifa was eating lunch with her colleagues when the man asked her for a photo. She declined, and though she may have been able to handle it better, she was unprepared for what would follow.
After referring to the man as “rude”, his girlfriend made a not-so-funny jest at her own expense.
“I told you that wasn’t her. There’s not enough c*m on her face. Let’s go, babe.”
She revealed that she had to retreat to the restroom to weep over the exchange.
“I didn’t really know how to handle it, especially because it came from a woman and especially because I was there for business.”
Mia Khalifa was fortunate to have the people she was conducting business with compassionate and sympathetic to her situation, attempting to provide her with comfort. It did not affect their professional relationship.
Mia Khalifa’s Journey Into The Adult Film Industry
The star was a guest on Steven Bartlett’s Diary Of A CEO podcast recently, and she discussed her journey into adult film in more depth.
“I got talked into eloping to Las Vegas four days after my 18th birthday,” she said. “I didn’t have a sense of self so I attached myself to someone who was more than happy to abuse that and someone who could see that and see someone easily manipulatable… but at the same time eager to please. It was just the perfect storm.”
Although Mia Khalifa’s husband, a soldier in the US Army, initially seemed to bring about a bright future, the situation quickly worsened when he proposed she join the adult entertainment industry.
“[He] put that whole [adult film] world in front of me and encouraged it,” she said, adding that she would rather not describe it as a “relationship.”
“I even feel weird calling it a relationship, because the dynamic was not one of a relationship – it was more one of someone who saw a toy to play with.”
