Michaela Conlin was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on June 9, 1978. She had a Chinese mother and an Irish father. At seven, she first played in a play. She then played in many plays in her community and region in Pennsylvania.
After she finished Parkland High School in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, Conlin moved to New York to join the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Career
After finishing her studies at New York University, Michaela Conlin was chosen to be on the cable documentary series, The It Factor. The show was about the experiences of new actors living in New York City.
Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles and secured her first leading role in the ABC drama series MDs. She played a hopeful young intern who is mentored by the hospital’s two rebellious doctors, portrayed by William Fichtner and John Hannah.
