The Officials reported that the step to find the sex trafficking victims has resulted in recovering more than 120 children in Detroit.
On Sep 26, Out of total 301 cases investigated by the U.S. Marshals Service 123 cases were found.
The authorities interviewed all the recovered children. Investigators revealed that a minimum of three children had signs of sex trafficking victims.
The National Centre for Missing and Exploited children and Michigan Police department has also helped in the search. The search was for one day in Wayne County, Michigan.
The teams effort started with investigating cases and going through files of missing children. The officers then visited the places where the missing children were last seen. Then they spoke with school management and friends to get details about the missing children.
The location where the missing children are currently located has not been revealed by the Officials. They said that the investigation is ongoing.
