MMA legend Miesha Tate is set to join ONE championship as vice president. ONE announced on Thursday that Miesha Tate will relocate to Singapore. ONE has recently added high profile fighters Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez to the roster.
Miesha Tate retired from 2016 in MMA ending a glittering nine-year-old career during which she had been crowned women’s bantamweight champion. Her feud with Ronda Rousey in MMA was well publicized. She beat other decorated fighters Holly Holm, Julie Kenzie and Sara McMann during her career. Miesha Tate recently gave birth to her first child. Tate has been working in different roles within MMA as a manager, television analyst, and commentator.
Tate said in a statement that she is thrilled to join ONE Championship as a vice president.
