People are worried about Millie Bobby Brown following her apparent engagement announcement.
In the summer of 2021, the Stranger Things star, 19, appeared to begin dating Jon Bon Jovi’s son, Jake Bongiovi, 20.
Brown and Bongiovi’s romance grew swiftly as the couple frequently posted amorous Instagram images.
And the couple looked to reach a new milestone this week when they appeared to announce their engagement.
On April 11, the Enola Holmes actress turned to Instagram and published a black and white photo of the couple holding hands.
A ring can be seen on Brown’s hand.
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all,” she captioned her image, which included a white love heart emoji.
While Bongiovi has also tweeted images from the day with the words “Forever” and a matching heart emoji.
Brown’s purported announcement has nearly 11 million likes, and thousands have congratulated him in the comments.
“I can’t believe my childhood favorite actress is engaged,” one admirer says.
Another adds: “OMG congrats.”
“Congratulations, so happy for you both. You are made for each other,” gushes a third follower.
Somebody else comments: “[The] wedding is going to be lit.”
Not everyone, however, is overjoyed for the Godzilla actor.
Many people are also turning to social media to claim that Brown is ‘too young’ to be getting engaged.
“I know Millie Bobby Brown isn’t 15 anymore, but 19 is still way too young for this, isn’t it!?” one person questions.
A second remarks: “Teenagers getting engaged… so we’re back in 1920.”
“Millie Bobby Brown… girl.. you’re rushing life. Slow down a little,” somebody else says. “She’s 19… Too young to know what you want for life. Way too young.”
While a fourth says, “OMGGGGGGG CONGRATS.” BUT YOU’RE STILL TOO YOUNG FOR IT!!!”
‘She’s 19’ began trending on Twitter after Brown’s Instagram post, according to BuzzFeed.

Fortunately, many of Brown’s followers have backed her in the comments section.
One fan says: “‘She’s too young’. ‘They’re gonna divorce in two months’.
“JUST LEAVE MILLIE BOBBY BROWN ALONE!! LET HER LIVE!!!”
A second person comments: “What some of you don’t understand, is that people in their industry tend to grow up way faster than regular people.
“Being in the spotlight and making tons of money make them have important responsibilities very early.
“I mean, this girl had a job at 11, so it only makes sense that she would get engaged by the time she’s 19.”
