Mindhunter Season 2: Release Date
The second season of Mindhunter does not have any official release date as of now. Mindhunter Season 2 was commissioned by Netflix in November 2017. The shooting of the show is a tightly kept secret, with people even being arrested for wandering into the set.
However, we know that Mindhunter Season 2 was being shot till as late as December 2018. Keeping in mind the time Mindhunter Season 1 came out, we expect Mindhunter Season 2 also to release around October 2019. However, plans can always change!
As of now, no teaser or trailer has been posted about the second season of Mindhunter. The trailer for Mindhunter’s first season had come out in March 2018. This was seven months before the show started off. We may get to see a shorter distance between the trailer and the release this time though. Mindhunter Season 2: Number of Episodes
Reports from IndieWire point out that Mindhunter Season 2 will feature eight episodes. This makes the show two episodes shorter than the first season, which had ten episodes. David Fincher, Andrew Dominik, and Carl Franklin will be the directors of the various episodes this season.
Franklin is known for his work with House of Cards, 13 Reasons Why and The Leftovers. Fincher is the executive producer of the show.
Mindhunter Season 2 Cast: Who Will it Feature?
The second season of Mindhunter will feature the Atlanta Child Murders prominently. This has been confirmed at various casting events as well. In addition to this, Charles Manson will also be a part of the second season. Another prominent serial killer who may be featured is David Richard Berkowitz, aka the Son of Sam.
