Minnesota Twins defeated the team of Kansas City Royals with ease in the second game of their 3-game series. Nelson Cruz was the hero of the match, and with his 3 long balls, the Twins won by 11-3 against the Royals. Cruz single-handedly took the offense of Twins to 11 runs for the second consecutive times. Adding the strict defense from the pitchers, the Twins vs. Royals game was kind of one-sided.
It would be interesting to see if the Twins can continue the same magic in the next series. Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians will have the next battle with Twins and everyone is excited for that after this blockbuster game. Here is how Nelson Cruz took the Twins to an amazing victory and proved his worth.
Nelson Cruz is doing Amazing
Nelson Cruz was the hero of the match with his consecutive home runs against the Kansas City pitchers. Cruz, aka Boomstick, managed to do a 3-homer game for the second time within just 10 days. It has made Cruz the top scorer for the Twins with 30 home runs, and the position is tied with Max Kepler.
Nelson Cruz has 16 HR and 30 RBI in 23 games since the All-Star break. He's batting .361/.454/.976 in that span.

Nelson is having his best off-season with the Twins as he continues to bring glory to the Minnesota clubhouse. Due to Cruz taking charge, even other players in the Twins were able to score. C.J. Cron had a 3 hit 2 RBI game after his first game post-injury, and even Cody Stashak struck out 2 hitters in the game.
Braves and Indians Challenge
While most of the Twins bullpen was doing great, few hitters could not even manage to touch the ball once. Miguel Sano who came to bat at number 4 at three strikeouts and had to get back to the stands. The third match of the Twins against the Royals is in a few hours and hopefully, they work on their issues.
After that, the team of Atlanta Braves will visit the target field for another MLB game. There is also a 4-game set against the Cleveland Indians, and Twins needs to work hard. It was easy for Minnesota to win against weaker opponents, but Braves and Indians are tough challenges.
