The San Francisco Giants have prepared themselves for the MLB free agency as the deadline is getting close. The Giants are in talks with the other ballclubs and a lot of new deals can be made. At the same time, the Giants team have made it clear that they are in no hurry for anything.
A new trade deal will only be made if the opposite MLB team is offering something big in return. Otherwise, the San Francisco squad will be happy to continue with their old roster. The Giants have some of the biggest name in the free agency such as Madison Bumgarner, Will Smith, Tony Watson and Sam Dyson. Here are the future plans of Giants and their possible trade deals.
No Deals without Higher Returns
In the starting week of July, it was reported that the Giants have traded Madison Bumgarner in the free agency. It was kind of in the air for several days but nothing happened as the Giants were not happy with the offer received. Bumgarner was the star players for the Giants and they won’t trade him so easily.
I understand that Madison Bumgarner wants to be paid if traded to one of the 8 teams on his no-trade list but if he gets greedy and blocks a deal, it will cost him in free agency. He needs to be traded to avoid a qualifying offer. He is a lot like Dallas Keuchel. #Giants

Watching Madison Bumgarner step to the plate in the 7th inning on the #SFGiants broadcast, sure seemed like there was a little extra emotion from the Oracle crowd. This is the drama of the final days before the trade deadline . . . @MLB @MLBNetwork

Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Milwaukee Brewers already come under the no-trade list of Bumgarner. The Giants won’t trade Madison or any other star unless they find someone who can replace him for the next MLB season.
Future of Giants in the MLB
The San Francisco Giants are currently at a tough spot in the MLB games with a 48-49 win to loss ratio. They have to still win a few games to make it to the wild card spot in the NL West. Bruce Bochy, the general manager of Giants is trying hard to turn the tide for Giants and lift them up in the MLB rankings.
In such a time, the free agency deals are looming over the players and it is getting tough each day. There are a lot of challenges in front of the Giants and they can’t trade their star players without a high return.
