Todd and Julie Chrisley’s granddaughter’s mother has vowed to get her daughter back, and now that Todd and Julie are going to prison, the way may be clear.
Angela Johnson, Chloe’s 10-year-old daughter’s mother, told that she is working to get full custody of her daughter back. Todd is in charge of Chloe right now.
She says that she has been working with a legal team for years to get Chloe back, but she admits that it has been very hard to make progress. Before the Chrisleys moved to Tennessee, Chloe and her family lived in Atlanta. Angela, who lives in South Carolina right now, tells us that all the moves have made it hard to decide who has custody of her kids.
Angela gave birth to Chloe with Kyle, Todd and Julie’s son, in 2012. Kyle lost custody in 2016 because he was using drugs, so Angela and Todd became joint parents.
In the same year, Angela was arrested for allegedly putting in a false application for Medicaid help, leaving Todd with sole custody.
Angela took a plea deal to end the case, but now she wants her daughter back. Todd just got 12 years in prison for bank fraud and not paying taxes.
Last month, Savannah Chrisley said she would get custody of Chloe once her parents were locked up, but Angela is clearly not on board with that.
