Android 9 Pie update has already made its way to most of the flagship phones out there. However, for reasons best known to only Motorola, a plethora of Moto phones are still alien to the Android Pie update.
Nevertheless, Motorola seems to be working hard to change that. The company has finally come up with an official list of Moto phones which are going to get updated to Android 9 Pie.
Supported Devices
Motorola posted a list of 8 Moto phones on their official blog that are scheduled to get the Android 9 Pie Update through OTA first. These phones update will be prioritized and they will receive the update before any other device in the Motorola lineup.
It is worth noting here that some of the more popular Motorola phones like the Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, and the Moto E5 have failed to make it to this list. We’re not quite sure what could be the reason behind it, especially considering that the Moto E5 was released in July last year.
It is possible that we could see the addition of some devices in the future.
