The old Motorola Razr’s were one of the most iconic phones of all time, with their cool flip design setting them apart. However, it seems that they may be making a comeback, with the so-called Motorola Razr 2019. This new smartphone is poised to challenge Huawei and Samsung’s devices with foldable displays.

Motorola Razr 2019
The idea of a new Razr phone, built along the same line as the old iconic flip phones, but sporting a new foldable display has sent the rumor mill spinning. Image renders have leaked on various sites, and this post contains a few of them. The renders confirm the suspicions that the phone’s design will be like the old Razr ones, with the touchscreen display extending to where the keyboard used to be.
Most of the renders do show the Motorola Razr 2019’s screen folding. However, it is still unclear whether there will be a secondary screen on top of the phone, allowing the users to check notifications when the phone is on. After all, the old Razr phones did have the features, albeit without the touchscreen.

Reports did spring up on XDA developers last month that a listing of Motorola Razr had been spotted. It was also confirmed that the device will have a Bluetooth 5.0 component.
Specs
Some other reports have also leaked some of the technical specs. The device is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 710 chip and will run on the latest Android 9.0. The screen panel is supposed to be AMOLED. The phone itself will be offered in two memory variants- 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM, or 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM.
Release Date
The phone’s name itself hints at the release date, at worse, the phone will be released at the tail end of 2019. While the rumors and leaks keep piling up, Motorola is yet to make an official announcement on the phone.
